Job description

As a Support Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring our commercial customers receive world-class support for our managed maritime services. The role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with excellent communication abilities. You will learn how to quickly assess issues, combine inputs from multiple sources, and provide effective solutions or workarounds –all while maintaining clear and confident communication with the customer.

Main Responsibilities

You will provide technical support for incidents detected by monitoring systems and customer reports, ensuring timely resolution and high customer satisfaction. The role involves supporting SatCom, Network, and Cyber services with technologies such as Starlink, Sealink VSAT, OneWeb, and Fortinet. As part of a 24/7 shift rotation in the Maritime Network Operations Center, you will handle service requests and contribute to improving troubleshooting methods and processes.

Required Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a technical education (university level or equivalent), solid IT knowledge, and experience with IP, networking, and routing. Strong English skills and a valid driver’s license are required.

Preferred Skills

Experience with satellite communication, WiFi, mobile 4G/5G/LTE, cyber security, and ITIL frameworks will be an advantage.
