    Job description

    Statnett works with the most important infrastructure in Norway and plays a central role in transforming the energy sector into a low-emission future. As our Technical Manager Platform Design, you will have the opportunity to be involved from the early concept phase of offshore network projects through contracting and the construction phase, including preparations for the operational phase.

    The position is in the Technology Development Station section, within the Technology Development department under the Technology and Transformation business area. The section is responsible for technology development, introduction of new technology and standardization. Technology Development has a strong interdisciplinary competence and is responsible for HVDC and FACTS facilities (primarily SVC and STATCOM). The section will also be responsible for offshore HVDC and HVAC platforms. As Technical Manager Platform Design, you will primarily be part of the technical team in our project portfolio for the offshore grid, including responsibility for the structural part of specifications, technical solutions and technology implementation.
